It's been a while!
The past several months have been somewhat of a whirlwind with talks, travel, and presentations.
After returning home from the BWCA, I dove back into work at Glensheen and snuck in a few summer adventures here and there. It was a blast to see the BWCA in the summer!
I've been asked many times what I will be up to this winter! I am taking this year off from a long-form expedition. In lieu of a solo adventure, I will be in Willow, Alaska handling for a couple of mushers. Running sled dogs in Alaska has been a dream of mine for a long long time. I am excited to extend a hand to someone else's dreams. I will head out in December and be back home in March.

Other updates:
- There was a short film made on our BWCA trip last winter. It is called "A Voice for the Wild" it premiered at the Banff Film Festival last week! It was a huge honor to be featured again at the films. So great to see so many adventurers and filmmakers
- A children's book on the way called "I am Emily". It is about Diggins and me on the Ice Age Trail. It should be available in 2023!
- Next winter I hope to traverse the Appalachian Trail Starting in November! I have only scratched the surface of planning for that trip, but more details are to come.
I hope that all of you have been able to get out and seek your own adventures! The outdoors is for everyone!
